SELF DEFENCE WORKSHOPS

 Wen-Do Women’s Self Defence

Wen-Do, a self defence program designed for women, by women has three major goals:

AWARENESS, AVOIDANCE, and ACTION

All classes are taught by women, for women and are inclusive of trans gendered women and women of all abilities.

 

HOSTING A WEN-DO SESSION:

If your University of Toronto group or organization is interested in hosting its own Wen-Do 3-hour taster session, the Community Safety Office would be happy to assist you.

Please note that the Community Safety Office requires proof of the participation of at least ten attendees at your Wen-Do event if you are requesting reimbursement of the instructor’s fee.

Please see attached document on suggestions for how you can successfully host your own session.  If you have any questions or concerns or require more information, please contact Anita Rizzello.

Location: Events Centre, Highland Hall

 

  This Wen-Do 3-hour taster session is open to all female University of Toronto staff and faculty from all three campuses.

 

 If you are interested in participating, please click here to register

Registration closes on June 27th,2019.  Please note, this session requires a minimum number of participantsin order to proceed.  We will notify you at least one week prior if the session is cancelled.
